Maldives Homeland Minister Visits Saudi Pavilion at World Defense Show

Riyadh: Republic of Maldives Minister of Homeland Security and Technology Ali Ihusaan visited the Saudi Ministry of Interior pavilion at the World Defense Show 2026, showcasing technological solutions envisioning the future of sustainable security, readiness, and community service. The exhibition is being held in Riyadh from February 8 to 12.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Ihusaan was briefed on the ministry's integrated operational capabilities in enhancing decision-making, command and control, predictive intelligence, and security-scene management to protect individuals and all those residing in the Kingdom, in line with its mission toward smart, integrated, and sustainable security.

The minister also toured the pavilion's sections, which highlight the interior ministry's capabilities in transitioning toward proactive security, efficiently managing crises and emergencies through advanced technological solutions, the role of Unified Security Operations Centers (911) within the national response system, and its efforts to foster innovation and build international partnerships in the fields of security and smart systems.
