Riyadh: The Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites (RCMC) has highlighted the successful integration of 60 government agencies and the private sector in delivering high-quality services for the current Ramadan Umrah season. RCMC CEO Saleh Al-Rasheed noted that under the direct supervision of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Prime Minister, and RCMC Chairman, these collaborative efforts across security, logistics, health, and heritage have significantly improved the pilgrim experience.
According to Saudi Press Agency, key achievements include the revitalization of 64 historical sites and a major breakthrough in crowd and traffic management. The commission's transportation center reduced the time required to clear shuttle bus stations to less than 65 minutes, marking a 21.7-minute improvement over last year despite a surge in visitor numbers.
