Makkah Region’s Police Arrests Resident for Fraudulent Hajj Campaigns

Makkah: Makkah Region's police arrested a Yemeni resident for fraud after he disseminated misleading advertisements for fake Hajj campaigns, falsely promising accommodation and transportation for pilgrims within the holy sites. Legal action was taken, and the case was referred to the Public Prosecution.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Directorate of Public Security urges citizens and residents to adhere to Hajj regulations and guidelines and to report violators by calling 911 from Makkah, Riyadh, Madinah, and Eastern Region, or 999 from other regions of the Kingdom.
