Makkah Region’s Police Arrest Two Residents for Fraudulent Hajj Campaigns

Makkah: Makkah Region's police have arrested expatriates, Yemeni and Egyptian nationals, for committing fraud. The two suspects disseminated misleading advertisements for fake Hajj campaigns, falsely promising accommodation and transportation for pilgrims within the holy sites. Legal action was taken against them, and the case was referred to the public prosecution.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the General Directorate of Public Security urges citizens and residents to adhere to Hajj regulations and guidelines while reporting violators by calling (911) from Makkah, Riyadh, and the Eastern Region or (999) in other regions of the Kingdom.
