Makkah Police Arrest Resident, Citizen for Fraudulent Hajj Campaign Ads

Makkah: Makkah Region's police arrested a Sudanese resident and a Saudi national for committing fraud by posting fake and misleading Hajj campaign advertisements on social media, offering accommodation and transportation for pilgrims within the holy sites.

According to Saudi Press Agency, legal action has been taken, and they were detained and referred to the Public Prosecution.

The Public Security urges citizens and residents to adhere to Hajj regulations and instructions, and to report any violators by calling the numbers (911) in Makkah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and (999) in other regions of the Kingdom.
