Makkah Municipality Boosts Efforts to Enhance Infrastructure for Hajj 1446 AH

Riyadh: The Holy Makkah Municipality has carried out an extensive program to maintain and rehabilitate key roads and streets in Makkah and the holy sites as part of its thorough preparations for the 1446 Hajj season. The program covers over 50,000 square meters and includes road resurfacing, sidewalk repairs, and traffic markings.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality will continue its ongoing maintenance projects, focusing on the development of bridges, tunnels, and lighting systems, to enhance services for pilgrims and ensure a safe, seamless experience.

These efforts align with the directives of the Saudi leadership to prioritize the security, comfort, and ease of movement for pilgrims, enabling them to perform their rituals with convenience.
