Makkah: Makkah Region's Education Department has announced a campaign to recruit 1,500 volunteers for field operations during the Hajj season 1446 AH.
According to Saudi Press Agency, both male and female volunteers are needed to serve in various roles at the Grand Mosque from 5 to 12 Dhu Al-Hijjah 1446 AH. These roles include guidance, counseling, preventive awareness, response to minor incidents, and participation in evacuation and rescue operations-all under the supervision of relevant Hajj operational authorities.
This initiative supports the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which emphasizes the importance of volunteerism in national development. The effort aims to foster a spirit of community service, enhance youth capabilities, and promote values of national identity and humanitarian engagement.
