Makkah: Deputizing for Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and under his patronage, Deputy Governor of Makkah Region Prince Saud bin Mishaal bin Abdulaziz will attend on Wednesday the closing ceremony of the 45th King Abdulaziz International Competition for the Holy Quran Memorization, Recitation, and Interpretation, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ceremony marks the culmination of the six-day final round of qualifying competitions, bringing together participants from around the world under the supervision of a judging committee.
The top winners across the five competition categories will be honored, alongside the distinguished members of the judging committee. The King Abdulaziz International Quran Competition is one of the most prestigious Quran competitions globally. Its current edition is the largest to date, featuring 179 contestants from 128 countries.
