Makkah Border Guards Rescue Egyptian Resident After Marine Vehicle Breaks Down at Sea

Makkah: Search and rescue teams of the Border Guard in Al-Qunfudhah Governorate, Makkah Region, rescued an Egyptian resident after his marine vehicle broke down at sea, authorities said on Sunday.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the individual was located and brought safely ashore, where he was provided with the necessary assistance.

The General Directorate of Border Guards urged all seafarers to follow maritime safety guidelines, ensure the readiness of marine vehicles before setting out, and call (911) in Makkah, Madinah, and the Eastern Province, or (994) in other regions of the Kingdom, to request help in emergency situations.
