Barcelona: Mahd Sports Academy has launched a professional immersion program in Barcelona with Girona FC, running from April 5 to May 2, 2026, for 27 days. The initiative is part of the academy's ongoing efforts to develop national talent in line with the highest international standards.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the program includes four promising academy talents, alongside a coach. It aims to enhance players' technical and tactical skills through direct exposure to various football schools and field experience that contribute to improving on-pitch performance.
The program also seeks to instill the principles of professionalism, develop self-reliance and discipline, and strengthen tactical and strategic understanding of the game in line with the demands of modern football.
The immersion represents a qualitative opportunity for the talents to assess their levels against European standards and accelerate their technical and personal development, supporting their journey toward professionalism and representing the Kingdom in international arenas.
