Madinah’s Second Camel Auction Concludes with over SAR33 Million in Sales

Riyadh: The second Madinah camel auction concluded yesterday in Al-Hanakiyah Governorate, following a 10-day event that attracted widespread participation from camel owners, investors, and enthusiasts from across the Kingdom. The auction recorded total sales exceeding SAR33 million, with the participation of over 500 camels.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event featured a variety of cultural, heritage, and entertainment activities, highlighting the significance of camels in the Kingdom's national heritage and their role in economic development and heritage tourism. Al-Hanakiyah Governor Mubarak Al-Morqi praised the festival for its important role in stimulating the local economy, benefiting commercial establishments and hotels, many of which reached near-full occupancy.
