Madinah: The Madinah Municipality continues its active monitoring and inspection of food products across markets and commercial establishments, as part of its ongoing commitment to enhancing food safety and protecting public health.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality reported 5,869 laboratory tests on food samples were conducted in July at its specialized facilities. Results from chemical analyses revealed that 5,572 samples met approved health standards, while 297 samples were found to be contaminated and deemed unfit for consumption.
It urged the public to report any violations or concerns through the unified number 940 or via official approved channels.
