Madinah Municipality Concludes First Phase of Emergency Operations of Hajj 1446 AH

Madinah: The Madinah Regional Municipality has successfully implemented its operational and emergency response plans for the first phase of the Hajj season 1446 AH as part of its efforts to enhance public safety and ensure pilgrims' comfort.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the municipality stated its emergency center responded swiftly and efficiently to various urgent situations, in addition to carrying out 12 proactive drills for practical crisis response and executing seven operational plans aimed at minimizing potential risks.

Key components of the plan included designating the number 940 to receive round-the-clock reports, preparing a response plan for rain, floods, and natural disasters, and deploying rapid response teams in high-density areas frequented by pilgrims.

The municipality confirmed that these efforts are part of its comprehensive plan that prioritizes the safety of pilgrims, reaffirming its full commitment to providing a secure and reassuring environment during their stay and movements throughout Madinah.
