Madinah: Governor of Madinah Region Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz received in his office Executive Director of the Independent Permanent Human Rights Commission of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Dr. Hadi Al-Yami. During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the leadership's continued support and efforts to advance human rights at both the national and international levels.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions focused on initiatives and programs aimed at promoting human rights. The meeting emphasized the importance of collaboration between the regional authorities and international bodies in addressing human rights issues.
The Governor reiterated the commitment of Madinah's leadership to uphold human rights principles. Dr. Al-Yami acknowledged the contributions of the regional leadership in supporting the objectives of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation in this domain.
