Madinah: The General Administration of Education in Madinah Region, in collaboration with the Saudi Arabian Scouts Association, is actively executing its volunteer services plan for visitors to the Prophet's Mosque during the holy month of Ramadan 1447 AH. The initiative comprises 250 scouts guided by 20 leaders, along with 360 staff volunteers, all working towards enhancing the visitor experience during this significant period.
According to Saudi Press Agency, scout and volunteer teams are dedicated to providing essential organizational and guidance services in the areas surrounding the Prophet's Mosque and along the access roads. Their responsibilities include assisting lost visitors, transporting the elderly using carts, organizing pedestrian flow, managing crowds, supporting traffic officers, and aiding in the distribution of iftar meals to fasting visitors.
The volunteer efforts are not limited to the Prophet's Mosque alone; they also extend to several mosques and historical landmarks across Madinah. These activities embody values of generosity, responsibility, and teamwork, all contributing to a smooth and safe experience for visitors to the city during the sacred month.
