French President Emmanuel Macron praised Egypt’s role in laying the foundations of stability in the Middle East, the Mediterranean region, and Africa in a meeting with President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi on Monday.
Sisi met with Macron on the sidelines of the 2022 UN Climate Change Conference (COP27) that Egypt’s Sharm El-Sheikh city hosts from 6 to 18 November, Egyptian Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said in a statement.
During the meeting, Macron the firm relations between Egypt and France and the deep friendship binding the two countries.
