Muscat: The Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission inaugurated the Kingdom's pavilion at the Muscat International Book Fair 2025, which is being held at the Oman Convention and Exhibition Centre from April 24 to May 3. The event features participation from 35 countries and 674 publishing houses.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the commission is spearheading the Kingdom's involvement in the fair, collaborating with several cultural and educational entities. These include the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language, the King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah), the King Abdulaziz Public Library, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, the King Fahd Quran Printing Complex, and Taibah University.
The initiative is part of the Kingdom's broader strategy to enhance cultural ties with the Sultanate of Oman and to explore investment opportunities. This aligns with the goals outlined in the Kingdom's Vision 2030, which aims to foster international cooperation and cultural exchange.
