Riyadh: LEAP 2026 in Riyadh is spotlighting next-generation digital identity solutions, including new palm-based biometric technology designed to eliminate reliance on traditional identification cards and keys.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Saudi Link Palm, a subsidiary of Link Group, showcased its biometric system, which scans unique palm characteristics to verify users for payments, facility access, and attendance tracking across the financial, healthcare, education, and hospitality sectors.

Link Group Founder and Chief Executive Officer Abdullah Al-Othman said the company has localized its software and operational infrastructure within Saudi Arabia. He noted that the group is executing contracts worth more than SAR80 million in 2026, bringing the parent company's valuation to approximately SAR250 million. Link Palm aims to expand the technology's applications in daily services by 2030 and export the Saudi-developed technology to global markets.
