Tripoli: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Government of Libyan National Unity has strongly condemned and utterly denounced the hostile Israeli statements regarding the establishment of a Palestinian state on the territory of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry stressed that the provocative calls promoted by the Israeli occupation are entirely unacceptable. It described these disgraceful statements as a dangerous escalation, a blatant violation of international law and international legitimacy resolutions, and an unacceptable infringement on the sovereignty of states and the rights of peoples. The ministry further emphasized that these actions necessitate clear and firm international condemnation.

The statement reaffirmed the Government of National Unity's complete rejection of these provocative remarks and extremist stances, which reflect an exclusionary and aggressive ideology that fuels discord and pushes the region toward further tension and escalation.

The ministry reiterated Libya's absolute solidarity and full support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and the Arab Republic of Egypt in the face of these baseless claims. It also called on the international community to assume its responsibilities, take a firm stance in condemning this serious transgression, and confront attempts to violate the sovereignty of states and undermine the principles of international law.
