Riyadh: Libya condemned an attempt to target oil and vital facilities in Saudi Arabia's Eastern and Riyadh regions, describing it as an attack on civilian infrastructure and a threat to global energy security and stability.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Libya's Government of National Unity expressed Libya's full solidarity with Saudi Arabia in confronting any threats to its security and stability, reiterating its support for the measures taken by the Kingdom to protect its security and vital facilities.
The ministry called for de-escalation and the use of diplomatic means to resolve disputes and spare the region further tension and escalation.
