Israeli warplanes Wednesday killed eight people across Lebanon, according to sources. A Lebanese official said five people were killed after Israeli warplanes targeted a civil defence centre in the Aitaroun town, two in a raid on Zawtar and one a raid on Mashghara in the western Bekaa. He added that the towns of Khiyam, Kfar Kila, Marjeyoun Plain, Adaisseh, Blida, Talat al-Aziziyah, the Litani River, the Khardali area, Naqoura, al-Tayyeh and Deir Siryan are being bombarded. Israeli aircraft launched raids on the Litani River, Khiyam and Markaba. The Lebanese army stated that Israeli forces breached the Blue Line and marched 400 meters deep into Lebanese territory in the areas of Khirbet Yaroun and Bab al-Adaisseh, then withdrew after a short period. It stated that a Lebanese soldier was injured as a result of an Israeli drone attack while he was working with a unit of the Lebanese army to open the Marjeyoun-Hasbaya road at the entrance to the town of Kokba.
