KUWAIT CITY: Kuwaiti leadership has extended congratulations to Saudi Arabia following its successful bid to host the FIFA World Cup in 2034. This acknowledgment comes from the Amir of Kuwait, Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, who praised Saudi Arabia's esteemed international status and expertise in organizing global events. According to Saudi Press Agency, the Amir of Kuwait emphasized that Saudi Arabia's selection is a testament to the international community's confidence in the Kingdom's capabilities. He highlighted the achievement as a source of pride for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries as well as for Arab and Islamic nations. The Amir expressed his hopes for a successful tournament and extended well-wishes for the continued health and prosperity of Saudi leadership. The Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, echoed similar sentiments in his congratulatory messages to Saudi leaders.
