The Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) will host the 51st General Assembly of the Federation of Arab News Agencies (FANA) tomorrow, gathering delegations and representatives from member news agencies. The conference will be chaired by Acting Director General of the Emirates News Agency (WAM) and FANA President Dr. Jamal Al Kaabi. KUNA Director General and FANA Vice President Dr. Fatma Al-Salem will also attend, alongside representatives of various Arab news agencies. The General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council will join as an observer. At the one-day conference, attendees will discuss challenges faced by news agencies in the Arab world and explore ways to expand cooperation among FANA member states. The meeting aims to facilitate the exchange of experience and refine media strategies in the face of technological advancements, and foster increased coordination among news agencies.
