Kuwait Bourse Closes Higher

Kuwait Bourse closed Thursday trading as the All Share Index gained 2.35 points to reach 7,048.23 points, an increase of 0.03 percent. As many as 399.6 million shares valued at KWD 64.5 million (roughly USD 196.7 million) were traded via 19,798 transactions. The Main Market Index went up by 3.75 points to reach 6,328.80 points, an increase of 0.06 percent, through 324.3 million shares done via 14,625 transactions valued at KWD 41 million (roughly USD 125 million). The Premier Market Index went up by 2.10 points to reach 7,579.24 , an increase of 0.03 percent through 75.2 million shares done via 5,173 transactions valued at KWD 23.4 million (roughly USD 71.37 million). Meanwhile, the bourse Main 50 Index lost 1.37 points to reach 6,309.69 points, a decrease of 0.03 percent, through stock volume of 244.5 million shares done in 9,732 deals at a value of KWD 29.5 million (roughly USD 89.9 million).
