KSU Hosts International Students’ Day Event with Cultural Showcase

Riyadh: King Saud University (KSU) vice president for educational and academic affairs Dr. Nasser Al-Daghri on Monday inaugurated the International Students' Day events, organized by the university through the Deanship of Student Affairs and the International Students Department.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the event saw wide participation from visitors and international students of various nationalities and is considered one of the largest cultural gatherings on campus. It highlights the university's role in supporting international students and celebrating their cultural and academic diversity.

The celebration is part of the university's efforts to reinforce its position as a global academic hub hosting about 98 nationalities. KSU aims to provide a balanced educational and social environment that enables students to integrate, participate, and innovate. This initiative aligns with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, which seeks to build a global learning community capable of engaging with diverse cultures.

The event featured booths representing more than 43 countries, where international students showcased their cultures through traditional clothing, heritage arts, local cuisines, and handcrafted items. In addition to these displays, live performances drew wide audience engagement.
