The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) team held a meeting with Sudanese Minister of Social Development Ahmed Adam Bakhit yesterday in Port Sudan. The two sides discussed the efforts made by the Kingdom through KSrelief to aid the Sudanese people and explored ways to strengthen cooperation and coordination between the center and the ministry, specifically to support those who have been internally displaced and those affected by ongoing events.
The minister expressed his gratitude for the Kingdom’s assistance, and stated that the ministry is working in coordination with relevant authorities in the Red Sea State and other states to facilitate logistical procedures related to Saudi relief aid. He further acknowledged the significant contribution made by the Kingdom, as it remains one of the largest international donors to Sudan.
