KSrelief-Supported Prosthetics Center in Taiz Provides Services to 605 Beneficiaries in One Month

Taiz: The Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center project in Taiz Governorate provided a range of medical services to 605 beneficiaries who had lost limbs from among the Yemeni people during October 2025, with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).

According to Saudi Press Agency, a total of 2,199 services were delivered under the project. Men accounted for 60% of beneficiaries, and women for 40%, while displaced persons accounted for 15% and residents for 85% of the total.

The services included fitting, delivery, and maintenance of prosthetic limbs, as well as physiotherapy and specialized consultations.

The initiative is part of the humanitarian programs provided by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through KSrelief to help alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
