Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed two cooperation agreements on Sunday with two civil society organizations to distribute 600,000 food baskets in Yemen during 2025-2026, with a total weight of 35 tons and 640 kilograms. This initiative aims to provide much-needed food assistance to the people of Yemen. According to Saudi Press Agency, this effort is part of the broader relief and humanitarian projects and programs implemented by the Kingdom through KSrelief. The initiative is designed to support the Yemeni people amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis and to contribute towards achieving food security in the region. The strategic distribution of food baskets is expected to alleviate some of the challenges faced by Yemeni families in securing basic food supplies.
