Riyadh: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed a cooperation agreement on Friday via video conference with the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage to establish four water desalination stations in Khan Younis and the Central Governorate in the Gaza Strip.
According to Saudi Press Agency, under the agreement, four water desalination stations will be supplied with a production capacity of 10 to 12 cubic meters per day, including installation works, and four solar power systems with a capacity of 7 kW each. The project is expected to benefit 300,500 individuals.
This agreement is part of the efforts made by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to support the water and sanitation sector and alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
