Damascus: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed a cooperation agreement on Sunday with the Syrian Ministry of Emergency and Disaster Management to rehabilitate the ministry's headquarters in Damascus, enhance its operational capacity, and foster the exchange of humanitarian expertise. This step is part of a broader effort to strengthen the operational framework of the ministry, ensuring it can better respond to emergencies and disasters.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative underscores the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's continued commitment through KSrelief to the rehabilitation of critical infrastructure in vulnerable countries. By focusing on rebuilding and enhancing the ministry's headquarters, the agreement aims to improve emergency response services and support the ministry in its disaster management efforts.

The signing ceremony was attended by Advisor at the Royal Court and General Supervisor of the KSrelief Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah and Syrian Minister of Emergency and Disaster Management Raed Al Saleh. Their presence highlights the significance of the agreement and the collaborative spirit between the two entities in addressing humanitarian challenges.
