KSrelief Signs Agreement to Enhance Water Services at Marib General Hospital

Marib: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) signed a cooperation agreement today with a civil society organization to enhance water services at Marib General Hospital Authority, benefiting 24,760 individuals.

According to Saudi Press Agency, as part of the agreement, an integrated water network will be rehabilitated to serve Marib General Hospital, including the restoration of the existing 120-meter-deep well and the installation of a modern submersible pump to enhance water production.

In addition, a new 180-meter-deep well will be drilled and equipped with a solar-powered system. A fully equipped pump room will be constructed, along with a 50-cubic-meter elevated tower tank to ensure the continuous supply of safe drinking water.

A desalination plant with a production capacity of 20,000 liters per hour will also be established, providing reliable purification and distribution of potable water.

This agreement is part of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts, through KSrelief, to provide sustainable and safe water to hospitals and medical facilities in Yemen.
