Riyadh: The Prosthetics and Rehabilitation Center in Seiyun, Hadhramaut Governorate: provided a range of medical services to 581 Yemeni beneficiaries who had lost limbs during June 2026, with support from the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief).
According to Saudi Press Agency, the project delivered 1,572 services. Male beneficiaries accounted for 53% of the total, while females represented 47%. Internally displaced persons made up 19% of beneficiaries, with residents accounting for the remaining 81%. Services included prosthetic limb fitting and rehabilitation, physical therapy, and specialized consultations.
The project is part of the Kingdom's humanitarian initiatives, carried out through KSrelief, to strengthen the healthcare sector and alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people.
