KSrelief Participates in High-Level UN Session at CSW69


New York City: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) participated in a high-level session at the United Nations headquarters during the 69th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW69), alongside the Lives and Livelihoods Fund of the Islamic Development Bank Group.



According to Saudi Press Agency, during the CSW69 session, KSrelief showcased its global efforts to empower women, highlighting 1,072 projects implemented across 79 countries, with a total value exceeding $723 million. These initiatives have improved the lives of millions of women through programs such as vocational training and entrepreneurship support for Yemeni women, healthcare services including obstetrics and gynecology, and gender-based violence prevention initiatives through awareness campaigns and survivor support programs.



Since its inception, KSrelief has carried out 3,361 relief and humanitarian projects in 106 countries, with a total value exceeding $7 billion. The center continues to expand its impact, focusing on sustainable infrastructure, women’s empowerment, and creating opportunities for vulnerable communities worldwide.
