Freetown: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched a school feeding program in Sierra Leone, benefiting 4,819 students in 10 schools for one academic year.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the inauguration ceremony was attended by Sierra Leone's minister of education, Conrad Sackey; the acting charg© d'affaires of the Saudi embassy in Freetown, Ali Ibrahim Alheji; head of the Consular Section at the embassy Saleh bin Mohammed Al-Subaiey; and a team from KSrelief.
In his speech, Minister Sackey expressed gratitude to Saudi Arabia and KSrelief for their support to the education sector, emphasizing that the program will enhance the country's educational development efforts.
The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's humanitarian aid programs, carried out through KSrelief, to support vulnerable communities in brotherly and friendly nations.
