Nouakchott: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched the Ramadan "Etaam" food basket distribution project for 1446 AH in Mauritania, marking a significant step in addressing food security in the region. The launch ceremony was attended by Saudi Ambassador Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Raqabi and Mauritanian Food Security Commissioner Fatimatou Bint Khatri.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the project aims to distribute 7,352 food baskets to 44,112 individuals in Mauritania. Each basket contains essential food items, reflecting the Kingdom's commitment to providing necessary aid during the holy month of Ramadan.
This initiative is part of the Kingdom's ongoing humanitarian and relief efforts, carried out through KSrelief, to ensure food security in several brotherly and friendly countries. By focusing on essential needs, KSrelief continues to play a pivotal role in supporting communities in need across the globe.
