KSrelief Launches Ramadan ‘Etaam’ Food Basket, ‘Kanaf’ Projects in Lebanon

Beirut: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) launched the Ramadan "Etaam" food basket project for 1446 AH and the "Kanaf" Project for 2025 in Lebanon on Saturday, in a ceremony in Beirut attended by Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Walid bin Abdullah Bukhari, Lebanon's Grand Mufti Sheikh Abdul Latif Derian, and a KSrelief team.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the "Etaam" project aims to distribute more than 106,000 food baskets throughout the year, while the "Kanaf" project will provide over 22,000 vouchers, allowing beneficiaries to buy clothes from accredited stores based on their needs. More than 550,000 individuals across all Lebanese governorates are expected to benefit from this initiative.

This aid is part of the humanitarian and relief projects provided by the Kingdom through its humanitarian arm, KSrelief, to ensure food security and supply clothing to underprivileged families in various countries around the world.
