KSrelief Launches Pediatric Heart Surgery Project in Aleppo

Aleppo: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) implemented a volunteer medical project for pediatric cardiac surgery and catheterization in Aleppo, Syria, from May 16 to 23. The initiative falls under the Saudi Amal Program for Syrians (AMAL).

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the campaign, Saudi volunteer medical teams successfully performed 28 cardiac catheterizations and two open-heart surgeries. Thirty diagnostic radiology services were provided, 30 laboratory tests were conducted, and medications were dispensed to 30 patients.

The project is an extension of the various specialized volunteer medical initiatives undertaken by KSrelief to aid the people in Syria.
