Mazar-i-Sharif: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched the Noor Saudi Voluntary Program aimed at combating blindness and related diseases in Mazar-i-Sharif, a city in Balkh Province, Afghanistan. This initiative is carried out in collaboration with Al Basar International Foundation. According to Saudi Press Agency, the volunteer medical team involved in the program has examined 2,791 patients since the campaign's inception. Furthermore, the team has successfully performed 289 surgical procedures, all completed with success. The program is a significant effort in addressing and reducing the incidence of blindness in the region.
