KSrelief Launches New Electronic Portal for Saudi Nonprofit Organizations

Riyadh: Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Al Rabeeah today launched an electronic portal for Saudi nonprofit organizations at the center's headquarters in Riyadh, attended by organization representatives and KSrelief leaders and staff.

According to Saudi Press Agency, during the launch ceremony, Al Rabeeah highlighted the center's establishment through an initiative by Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, emphasizing its mission under the guidance of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. KSrelief has become a vital part of global humanitarian efforts, operating in 109 countries with over 4,000 projects costing more than $8.276 billion.

The supervisor general stressed the importance of the integrated volunteer ecosystem, which has executed over 1,200 volunteer projects in various countries, valued at over $147 million. These projects underscore Saudi Arabia's humanitarian leadership and the dedication of Saudi citizens as peace envoys.

Al Rabeeah announced the portal's role in empowering national organizations to join KSrelief's platform. Initially, 50 local nonprofit organizations were evaluated on international governance standards to partner in external projects. These organizations have already implemented 229 projects and conducted 50,855 surgical operations in over 20 countries, valued at more than SAR115 million, showcasing their effectiveness and potential for impactful partnerships.

A documentary was shown to highlight the collaborative efforts among Saudi nonprofit organizations in global humanitarian work, emphasizing their role in projecting the Kingdom's positive image through various initiatives under KSrelief.

Al Rabeeah concluded the event by launching the electronic portal, available in Arabic and English, which facilitates nonprofit organizations' applications to KSrelief. This portal supports humanitarian project implementation, international volunteer management, and enhances transparency and partnership integration.
