KSrelief Launches Food Basket Project in Sudan

King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) inaugurated last Thursday a food basket project in Sudan, in the presence of the Saudi Ambassador in Sudan, Ali bin Hassan Jafar; Commissioner of the Federal Humanitarian Aid Society, Dr. Najmuddin Musa Abdulkarim; director of the Alegtinam Human Development Organization, Muntasir Al-Bashir, and KSrelief representative.

The project aims to distribute 32,850 Ramadan food baskets, benefiting 197,100 people from the neediest groups during the holy month of Ramadan, in the states of Khartoum, North Kordofan, Central Kordofan, West Darfur, Blue Nile, South Darfur, and the Red Sea.

This initiative comes within the framework of the humanitarian and relief projects presented by the Kingdom, through the Center, to help countries in need and provide them with food security.
