Riyadh:The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has commenced the third phase of the Madad project in Sudan, scheduled for 2026.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the operation involves the dispatch of 40 trucks to regions including North Kordofan, Blue Nile, White Nile, Khartoum, and Kassala. These trucks are transporting 26,240 shelter kits and 6,652 hygiene kits, targeting support for 148,000 individuals to address basic needs for displaced persons and those impacted by ongoing crises.
The Madad initiative is designed to deliver food baskets, shelter materials, humanitarian assistance, and dates to families in need throughout Sudan. The project aims to reach over two million people across 12 states in the country.
This effort is part of the Kingdom's broader humanitarian mission, with KSrelief playing a pivotal role in alleviating the challenges faced by the Sudanese population amidst their humanitarian crisis.
