Jeddah: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Centre (KSrelief) Assistant Supervisor General for Operations and Programs Ahmed Al-Baiz participated in the 16th meeting of the Lives and Livelihoods Fund (LLF) Impact Committee at the Islamic Development Bank headquarters in Jeddah. Al-Baiz took part in discussions that underscored the ongoing collaborative efforts to address pressing humanitarian needs and development challenges through the fund.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Al-Baiz emphasized the renewed commitment of donors to the fund's second phase. He detailed three critical priorities for the upcoming funding cycle: ensuring the quality of LLF2 projects, enhancing donor engagement to attract new partners, and accelerating the completion of the LLF1 portfolio. These priorities aim to optimize the impact of the fund's initiatives and strengthen its capacity to deliver on its objectives.

The meeting also marked a significant transition in leadership, as the chairmanship of the Impact Committee was handed over from KSrelief to the Abu Dhabi Fund for Development. This change is part of the ongoing efforts to foster effective governance and enhance the strategic direction of the Lives and Livelihoods Fund.
