Abyan: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has launched the distribution of 1,160 food baskets in Abyan Governorate, Republic of Yemen. This effort is part of the second phase of the emergency food interventions project aimed at alleviating food insecurity in the region.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Secretary-General of the Abyan Local Council, Mahdi Mohammed Al-Hamid, expressed gratitude for the support provided by Saudi Arabia through KSrelief. He emphasized that the aid is targeted at individuals in dire need, including displaced persons, teachers, and host families.
This initiative underscores Saudi Arabia's commitment, through KSrelief, to bolster food security and assist vulnerable populations throughout Yemen.
