KSrelief Distributes 362 Food Baskets in Afghanistan’s Herat Province

Herat: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) yesterday distributed 362 food baskets in Afghanistan’s Herat Province, benefiting 2,172 individuals who had returned to their country from Iran.



According to Saudi Press Agency, the distribution is part of the 2025-2026 Food Security and Emergency Support Project in the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. This initiative underscores the ongoing commitment of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to provide relief and humanitarian assistance to needy and affected groups globally.



The effort by KSrelief is designed to address the immediate food needs of the returning populations, ensuring they have access to essential nutrition as they reintegrate into their communities. This aid distribution is one of the numerous activities under the broader project aimed at enhancing food security and providing emergency support to vulnerable individuals in the region.
