KSrelief Distributes 120 Food Baskets in Afghanistan’s Nangarhar

Jeddah: As part of the 2025-2026 Food Security and Emergency Project in Afghanistan, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) distributed 120 food baskets yesterday to the Omari camp at the Torkham border crossing in Nangarhar Province, benefiting 720 Afghans returning from Pakistan. This initiative highlights the ongoing efforts to alleviate food insecurity and support returning families in the region.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative contributes to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's broader relief and humanitarian efforts, carried out through KSrelief, to assist vulnerable and affected communities around the world. The distribution of food baskets at the Torkham border crossing is part of a larger strategy to provide essential support to those in need, especially those affected by displacement and returning to their homeland under challenging conditions.
