Kyiv: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has delivered crucial medical equipment to healthcare facilities in Ukraine's most affected regions, ensuring the continuation of essential health services.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the aid package comprises 15 anesthesia machines, eight advanced cardiac monitoring and stimulation devices, 15 electrosurgical units, 15 blood-warming devices, seven automated biochemical analyzers, one automated microbiology analyzer, and other indispensable medical tools.
This support aims to bolster patient safety, expedite diagnostic processes, train healthcare workers on the effective and safe use of modern medical technologies, enhance biosafety in laboratories, and improve access to basic health services for over 10 million people.
The initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's broader humanitarian efforts, executed through KSrelief, to fortify Ukraine's health system during these challenging times and aid healthcare facilities in maintaining their capacity to deliver essential medical care to those in need.
