KSrelief Conducts Successful Open-Heart Surgeries for Children in Tanzania

Dar es salaam: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) successfully implemented a volunteer medical project conducting open-heart surgeries for children in Dar es Salaam, United Republic of Tanzania. The initiative took place from September 4 to 11, 2026, and involved 20 volunteers from various medical specialties. According to Saudi Press Agency, during the campaign, KSrelief's volunteer medical team performed 29 open-heart surgeries, all of which were completed successfully. This project is part of Saudi Arabia's broader efforts to provide volunteer medical assistance through KSrelief, focusing on countries with significant needs. The initiative aims to support individuals and families with limited incomes by offering critical medical services.
