KSrelief Completes Medical Mission for Tumor and Gland Surgeries in Comoros

Moroni: The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) has successfully concluded its volunteer medical project focusing on tumor and gland surgeries in Moroni, Union of the Comoros. This initiative was part of a concerted effort to provide essential medical services to communities with limited access to healthcare.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the project spanned from November 15 to 22 and involved the participation of 15 volunteers from a range of medical specialties. This effort was carried out in collaboration with Al Balsam Association for Training and Health Development, emphasizing the importance of partnerships in delivering healthcare services in underserved regions.

Throughout the campaign, the KSrelief medical team conducted examinations on 86 patients and performed 57 specialized surgeries. Each of these surgeries was successfully completed, showcasing the expertise and dedication of the volunteer team. This project is part of ongoing medical initiatives by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, delivered through KSrelief, aimed at supporting low-income individuals and families worldwide by providing critical healthcare services.
