KSrelief Clinics Provide Medical Assistance to 2,480 Refugees in Zaatari Camp, Jordan

The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) clinics provided medical assistance to 2,480 people in the Zaatari Camp for Syrian refugees in Jordan during the third week of September. The general medicine clinics treated 643 patients and dispensed necessary medications. The internal medicine clinic served 104 patients with conditions such as diabetes, high blood pressure, and asthma. Meanwhile, 297 children received care in the pediatric clinic. The emergency department attended to 206 patients, and 128 individuals were seen in the dental clinic. Various other clinics provided specialized care, including treatment for sinus and ear infections, eye conditions, and heart issues. The number of diagnostics was also significant; numerous laboratory tests and X-rays were conducted, assisting in patient care. The vaccination clinic administered 192 vaccines to 69 people, while medication for chronic diseases was given to 260 patients. The health education department benefited 260 individuals, and the pharmacy filled 1,526 prescriptions.
