Riyadh: King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Health and Environmental Aid Department Director Dr. Abdullah Al-Moallem met in Riyadh with UN Refugee Agency (UNHCR) Regional Director for East and Horn of Africa and Great Lakes and Regional Coordinator for the Sudan Situation Mamadou Dian Balde.
According to Saudi Press Agency, discussions during the meeting centered on humanitarian and relief issues of mutual interest in Sudan and the Horn of Africa, with a focus on enhancing collaborative efforts.
The UN official commended the humanitarian and relief efforts provided by the Kingdom, through KSrelief, to the African peoples. He also praised the close cooperative relations between the center and UN humanitarian organizations.
